topic APs dropping from the WLC in Wireless

Hello everyone,

I been working on an issue I have on the wireless Network, the APs are dropping from the WLC and im trying to get some ideas from the logs. I changed the APs from Local to FlexConnect but the result was the same, after certain time the APs start to diassociate from the WLC but I cant find the reason why.

When I check the logs on the WLC I see these:

APF-3-REG_STATE_CHANGE_FAILED: AP SlotId Updation with WLAN data failed for AP: XXX
APF-3-GET_MULTI_ENC_POL_FAILED: Could not Get Multicast Encryption Policy. Unsupported multicast cipher for WPA2.WPA2:0.

When you check the Traps on the WLC you see following output:

4 disassociated previously due to Link Failure. Reason: Capwap Discovery Request.

I Though the problem was a connectivity issue on the switch network but I confirmed that the switches can ping the APs when they disassociate from the WLC. So it seems not to be a connectivity issue.

Do you have any other ideas?

Thank you for your help, have a good day

- Connect to the AP when that happens and issue show logging
