rtu license installation

Hi,

We have 5520 wlc and we are using RTU license.

Currently we are using 100 license and trying to add some more licenses , while trying add more license getting an error like "licenses cannot added/removed on secondary HA /SKU controller.

Please let us know how to overcome .

Make sure that your primary controller is active!!

With error code #licenses cannot added/removed on secondary HA /SKU controller# --> IT seems that your secondary WLC is active and you are trying to add on it.

First make main controller as Primary and add the license there.

Hi Sandeep,

Yeah you are correct!!

Tried manually switching the secondary to primary and able to install the licenses.

Forceful switch over command:

redundancy force switch-over.
