Hi AP with Flexconn mode means the AP is still able to work after disconnection with wlc. But why I see its light is flashing after disconnecting to wlc? Is this normal? Thanks

Let’s look at a few things. How did you disconnect the ap from the wlc? Is the ap still serving clients, I’m assuming you tested that for all SSID’s? Your SSID’s are all configured for local switching?

Thanks for your reply.

How did you disconnect the ap from the wlc? Is like this: wlc -------switch-------AP . . . . . . . . . user

Is the ap still serving clients, Yes

Your SSID’s are all configured for local switching? Its connected to switch

Connected to a switch doesn’t mean local switching. The wlan has to be co figured for local switching. Since you said that clients are still working, then you answered your question. Everything is working with the wlc not available.
