To who can help,

I'm trying to get my wireless to work. I'm basically trying to configure the Dot11radio 0. Based on an old post, I believe it said something to the extent of, when doing subinterfaces, the subinterface can't be on the same interface as the main one, so I have the dot11radio0 interface in a Bridge-Group 1, and the sub-interface which I called dot11radio0.1 in a Bridge-Group 2.

What I tried to do was make a new Bridge-Group 2, I tried doing a new vlan, but I know vlan1 is the vlan associated with the ethernet ports, and a new BVI2 to join everything. I also created a new DHCP pool for the BVI. I also created routes from and to where the traffic is going.

The final results was, the DHCP worked, but I couldn't get to the internet. I'm new to this, so I'm sure that I hosed a few things, but I wanted to give it a try before I asked for help.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, regards.

Hi Woodstar,

I think it should be helpful.

you need add a "native" in every subinterface.

e.g.

interface Dot11Radio1.820
encapsulation dot1Q 820 native

When you creating sub-interfaces, normally you do not assign bridge-group 1 to the main radio interface. Instead, it should be under a sub-interface configured for your native VLAN.
