SSID not visible on Aironet 1242

Hi,

I got a new 1242AG-K9 access point that I am trying to setup for basic wireless service.

I have enabled the G radio, created the SSID, set it to broadcast and mapped it to the G radio. The frequency channel is set to 3 (ETSI version).

My problem is that I cannot see the SSID being published when I browse the available wireless networks from my laptop (IBM-T41)

Any suggestion on what to look for or test would be very much appreciated as I am running out of ideas.

Hello, again

I got the fix - in the SSID Manager page - the Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings section: the Set Single Guest Mode SSID option had to be selected for the newly created SSID.
