Hi--

i'm trying to use the latest security enhancements to our 340 image (Enhanced MIC verification for WEP, and the Temporal Key Integrity Protocol). But everytime i turn on those new features, the clients associate fine, but IP appears dead (no routing, not passing DHCP req, etc).

any ideas?

Make sure that your clients are running compatible versions. I have tested and have it working with ACU 5.01, Windows Driver 8.01.06, and Firmware on the cards is 4.25.23. Hope that helps.

One last thing, it looks like you need to make sure that the wep key is set on the AP before you turn on MIC. You also need to have the Aironet Extensions on before TKIP or MIC will work. Hope that helps.
