    <description>&lt;P&gt;Captive portal detection on all device types uses http (port 80, unencrypted) because it's impossible to use https because of certificate mismatches on redirects.&amp;nbsp; On a browser you can manually bypass the invalid certificate warnings (depending on browser type/version and OS) but it would be unsafe to do that automatically in a captive portal assistant. So if you want that functionality to work then you have no choice but to leave http enabled.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Guys,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm having strange issue with my wlc (9800-CL) and central web authentication with ISE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everithing works fine and if i connect to mu guest (both with mobile or PC) i'm immediately redirected to the web portal (PC) and my mobile show a pop up for authenticating the network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If i disable on the wlc the http (port 80) management i have different be&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;behavior and i have to open the browser to be redirected to the web portal?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;any idea about this?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(i would like to disable http access and still maintain autmatic redirect)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
