WLC 5508 Debug Client SSH session

Hello everybody!

WLC 5508 controller

When collecting debug (debug client <mac>) I ran into a problem: it breaks the ssh session.
Before debugging, I enabled config session timeout 0
Please advise how to solve the problem.

In Putty, there are no settings that would break the session. Most likely somewhere a setting on the controller side

...or can someone suggest an option for me to do debug and not keep the ssh session open

- Which error do you get when the ssh connection gets closed ?

Putty fatal error - Remote site sent SSH2_MSG_EXT_INFO after USERAUTH_SUCESS

- You may try to save the debug output(s) to a file (in Putty) as described in https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/213258-collect-debugs-from-wireless-lan-control.html#anc5 , not sure if this will help but it may influence ssh-communications between Putty and the wlc , and or may improve it.

It was solved by replacing the Putty client to mRemoteNG.
The problem is gone.
