is this AP having autonomous software or lightweight image on it ?

1. If it has autonomous image then you can config it using CLI or GUI...

example: https://blog.dchidell.com/2016/09/10/cisco-autonomous-wireless-network-at-home/

or

If it has lightweight then you will need a WLC to manage it

Regards
