i am able to open ap cli but not able to connect in web gui. actualy i dont have any idea how to configure . experts please help me to configure this ap

is this AP having autonomous software or lightweight image on it ?

1. If it has autonomous image then you can config it using CLI or GUI...

If it has lightweight then you will need a WLC to manage it

@Sandeep Choudhary has already answered your question but if you're not even sure whether it's autonomous or lightweight (CAPWAP) then post the output of "show ver" from the CLI. The simplest clue is in the name of the IOS image it's running.

Autonomous will have k9w7 in the name, CAPWAP will have k9w8 in the name.

I think this is light ap. because of conf t comment not opened. capwap only worked
