topic subnet is full!!! in Wireless

Hello Experts, just wanted to get some suggestions, guidance on this issue-----we are using Cisco 5508 wlc with few ssid. One of the ssid with 254 (/24) usable host has been getting full and of course, that is blocking some users to get an ip address. For the time being, we have tried adjusting the lease time, clearing IP not in use etc etc but it looks like we have no choice then adding a additional /24 subnet to fulfill the needs of the users. My question is-How do I do that? I heard about interface groups---is this the right way of accomplishing that? If I go this route, what would be the steps I need to do to achieve this? Thanks

Create a new subnet.

In the WLC, create a new Dynamic Interface for the new subnet.

In the WLC, create a new Interface GROUP and "tie" in the new Dynamic Interface and the existing Dynamic Interface.

In the SSID, change the interface to point to the new Interface Group

If the subnet full, if you have option increase the subnet from /24 to /23 or more or create new subnet and add to VLAN group.

Alternatively, increase the subnet to /23 if possible. Don't forget to adjust the virtual interface on the WLC and the DHCP range on the DHCP.
