Hi WLC 5520 with ver 8.10- and about 30 APs 3802I (FlexCon)are joined to the WLC via the same model switches connection. Each switch is connected with about 5-9 APs and all these switches are connected to the same core switch. There are NO any issues about Corp, but when client try to access Guest ssid, its very hard to be connected to the Guest. It also means the client need to try several times or long time to access Guest successfully. Later we notice the connection issue only happen when client try to access Guest that is emitted by APs which are connected to the same switch. So it looks like the different switch configuration cause the issue. After I reviewed the configuration, I did not find something incorrected. Anyone has some suggestions? The diagram and switch port configuration is like below. vlan 99 is for Corp and 98 is for Guest.

WLC ----- Core Switch -------Switches ------APs

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/30

switchport trunk native vlan 99

switchport trunk allowed vlan 99,98

switchport mode trunk

- Try client-debugging for the who nearly can not connect or other (slow) guest-connections too. You can have debugs analyzed with :

                         https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessDebugAnalyzer/

- No problem I like being solver (lol) , you may also have a check of the controller configuration with :

                https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessAnalyzer/

Further more make sure that controller software version is rather recent, have a look at :

          https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html
