Hi All,

Can some one please share the Procedure to add New AP in the Cisco 5508 Wireless Controller (Step by step Procedure).

What is the normal latency we can expect for the Wireless connectivity.? Is the below latency is normal?

Ping from AP to 8.8.8.8

ping 8.8.8.8
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 8.8.8.8, timeout is 2 seconds
!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 44.767/45.104/45.830 ms

As for your is this normal latency too many factors in using a ping to a DNS server on the internet. There latency within the wired network and latency within the internet that can be variable.

I would be doing the ping from the WLC to the AP. And a client to its gateway for testing.
