Dear All

one of our customers asks that we have to generate a heat map for the access point. need suggestion that which software will do heatmap ??

PI and DNAC can generate heatmaps.

As Leo said PI and DNAC will generate heatmaps based on how the APs see the RF environment.

The better way is utilising wireless survey software like Ekahau or AirMagnet. These will give you a view of the RF from the ground where clients use the wireless.

Or is the customer after a heatmap as part of a design as in the access point isn't there yet? In that case Ekahau or AirMagnet are the best option
