Wireless printer with static IP Assignment

Found this particular question online. Pasted it on the lower part of the body.

Can anyone explain to me why letter C, passive client, is not the correct answer here? it should be based on this link.

Am I just missing something? Letter A is another feature, and Letter B is just the process of DHCP enabled clients right.?

I'm not entirely sure, but B is generally better and will also function if you have "DHCP required" enabled. It also helps the network to learn the ARP everywhere.

My way of thinking is

D - defiantly not in the ball park

A - not going to come into play unless the device gets excluded for some reason - auth failures, not playing nice with wifi etc

So that leaves B and C

The only setting for an WLAN i can think of with DHCP in it is DHCP required, which would prevent a static IP device joining the network.

Therefore that leave passive client, as printers are known for going to sleep

I just realized I didn't read the question well enough. It clearly states that the printer will be configured with a static address, so in this case I'd say the answer is more likely C, also see the text here:
