Hi,

we're just testing two C9120AXI. Upgraded both to 17.7.1. I'm connected to one of them via console cable and logged in to the gui at the same time. When I shut down power on POE switch, both APs go down. When I reconnect switch to power the APs come back, but they've swapped active and standby. Console access is not working anymore (command line access is not allowed on standby AP). I could move with my management computer and console cable around between the APs, but preferrably I would like to prevent them to swap.

Dashboard says "Preferred active not configured", but I can't find any way to configure a "preferred active".

Any idea how to achieve this?

Thanks and regards,

Stefano

May be you need set priority i guess here :

By default, all access points are set to priority level 1, which is the lowest priority level. Therefore, you need to assign a priority level only to those access points that warrant a higher priority.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/ewc/16-12/config-guide/ewc_cg_16_12/ap_priority.html

GUI check here :
