Hello,

The power injector I am currently using (Model: DPSN-35FB A) has a blinking green LED for AP Power and a solid green LED for AC Power. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or if there is something wrong with the power injector.

Appreciate the help

i found on some power injectors that pins that send power they change.

throw i not shure but i removed wires from pins 5,6,7,8 and unit powers up

this sujest that power is sent on pins one throw 4

i have confirm that two of wires are carrying voltage

so how cable is wired is most imported

u can not use cross over cable between the injector or ap

i can not confim this is case for all units,

only ones i have. but would make sence that cisco would do everything the same

now i not sure if power sent on all 4 wires or just two , i not gone so far,

i shut down the swich as got to cold to work on

but something to consider

I never seen a power injector that uses a crossover cable. How I understood the question is if the blinking lights were okay, so yes, the power supply has power to it, I want to know if the ap powers up or not.

i have had units requred cross over cable but u got flashing green light it not the injector, it in the cables or there is reason why

the data is not going to device, wifi up . dose this wifi use a controler to run it , or is it stand alone

probem is it not linking or getting dhcp , where i start is reset the wifi, if that fails replace bouth cables,. if that fails then replace injector , if it like to a controler probem is in controler and i run debug commands see if anything pops up

some wifi requres a encripted channel as u not stated how this wifi is set up or show logs of wifi best we do is guss

i confirm that cisco uses pins 1-2 -3 -4 for power u can not use a cross over cable, 5-6 7-8 is use for data ,

no other company dose this that meens must be cisco device unless u change the cable

now it might need cross over cable from swich to poe i seen this as well

but from poe to ap wires must be stait throw
