Hi,

In config guide V6.0 WCS redundancy is described. Has anyone used this in real-life?

The healthmonitor on the secondary monitors the primary server for things like hardware failure, network failure, software failure and database failure.

Depending on whether it is configured for automatic or manual failover the switchover happens automatically or the administrator initiates failover.

Once the outage is over you can failback to the primary which basically takes as long as starting WCS.

It isn't hard to configure and in the lab and the customers I have seen using it the feature works well.
