Many ap's that are registered to a WLC and have static IP Adresses, is it possible to reset these to DHCP from the cli of the WLC, 8540. ???

Is the static IP given by DHCP or AP configured manually?

Sure- then above document help you to reset and went to DHCP, Make sure AP go onboarding process when it go to DHCP if the Option 43 setup.

No option 43 used, dns for discovery of primary WLC is document still ok ??
