    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;endpoint : Macbook (version 11 and above)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SSID security : PSK+WPA2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;channel width : 40mhz&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;band: 5ghz&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;issue reported :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. while roaming user face latency&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Observation on Dashboard:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. channel utilization goes high (above 55% )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. latency shown in user performance latency graph&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. time to connect is high as attached photo's&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. 802.1r is enable&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what should be cause and resolution...kindly reply&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You channel utilization is not a problem and your coverage seems pretty good.&amp;nbsp; The problem I saw from the prints is that for some reason, you need to dig on it, is that clients is taking too long to connect on the next AP when roaming although the signal is strong enough.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I dont know much about this Meraki dashboard but would be nice perform a&amp;nbsp; packet capture while roaming and see why clients take so long to get onboard of the new AP. It is not clear if the problem is associantion or authentication and it is important do differentiate which is the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, make sure you are not performing a full authentication while roaming. AP should be able to store temporarilly the authentication keys so that only a partial authentication is necessary. This is done to speed up roaming process.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To add on to&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.cisco.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/178747"&gt;@Flavio Miranda&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;point, by design , most MacBooks do not support fast roaming AKA 802.11r. Also , macbooks have a roaming threshold at -75dBm so it may be expected behavior to see delays in roaming if you happen to have Aps at&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;5 GHz cells designed with a -67 dBm overlap&lt;/SPAN&gt; in your environment. The macbook may have a good enough signal under -75 and thus may choose not to roam&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please refer to the doc below from Apple which may be of help :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206207" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206207&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the issue is primarily with MACs, I would use a tool like nOversight and do a roaming test.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.numerousnetworks.co.uk/noversight/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.numerousnetworks.co.uk/noversight/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Meraki showing you dashboard side of things (how APs analyzing client info) where as the above tool will tell you the details from client perspective.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CJ&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/**Please rate all useful responses**/&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
