hi, my wifi client prefer 5ghz band, but its not good in our building, i want to switch him to 2.4Ghz, is there some solution in WLC? I mean all time prefer 2,4Ghz for specified MAC address of client. I dont want change SSID, thank you.

Instead of changing from WLC, why not change from client end try only 2.4 only wifi interface config ?

client doesnt support change/prefer band 😕

client device is the place where band selection is happening. you can disable/enable band in WLC globally. WLC cannot configure for specific MAC address for band selection

that is the best we suggest, most of recent adapter that option.

if not you need to disable from WLC side, this effects all the users who connected ? if that works then go ahead the route.
