Exclude IP Address-WLC

DHCP server is created in WLC for a subnet .

There is no any option to exclude ip address. Is there any way to exclude multiple ip address as like router ?

Please help me.

you want to exclude some IP ?
OK since there is no such op (as I know) then you can do the following
make ip exclude in end of subnet in or start of subnet for example
10.0.0.0 subnet
10.0.01-10 is exclude IP's
so
Pool will start from
10.0.0.11
Pool end with
10.0.0.254

this make WLC never give first IP to other user.

Yes i know it and already it is configured in WLC, But i want exclude some specific ip .

Client given me the list of ip's which need to be exclude.

As there any way to bind host IP in WLC?

If i exclude some ip's in Core SW than it will be work or not?

You mean use external dhcp not internal,

Yes absolutely you can use core as dhcp server external and exlude ip from dhcp pool.

If you need to not assign IP address you can narow you scope but if you want no permit some clients to not connect, you can use Mac address filter.

ip dhcp excluded-address

Than it will be work or not?

No if you use internal dhcp server in wlc then exclude in core sw is not effect the wlc dhcp assign.

But,

Some OS after get ip from dhcp server do arp if there is reply then the client reduse this ip and ask dhcp server for other ip.

I know this workaround but this limitation in wlc dhcp.

Actually no option is available in WLC for excluding specific IP address .So i decided to remove DHCP from WLC and make DHCP server in core SW. After that it will meet client requirement.
