Access Point C9120AXE-E cant configurate

Hello,

My problem is i cant get in to the webui of the AP. I connected the power injector with the switch and the AP. I had a previous AP C9120AXE-T and the led shined green and configurated it already. i try it with C9120AXE-E but it doesnt shine green so i cant get it to the webui.

connect the console cable and check the AP boot process.

you mean i should connect with a extra cable on a pc to check it with the programm

since other AP may have joined WLC ( so you able to use WebGUI), this AP may be not joined to WLC - so we need to check why its failed ?

2 weeks ago i got 6 APs of C9120AXE-T and these could join the WLC and could configurate the APs. This week i got 3 Aps of C9120AXE-E and try to to configurate them again. So i checked in putty and the boot process is in the document log .

on WLC > show version

On GUI summary you see the version running.

i dont have one. i just use a switch and the ap if you mean the hardware.

on the configurated Aps C9120AXE-T the version is 16.12.4a and in the headline it says Cisco Embedded Wireless Controller on Catalyst Access Points.

- They don't seem to get an IP address , is the mac address registered in your dhcp server (unless pool is used) ?

Switch model is netgear FS728TS and yes all porst should be in same VLAN. i connected the router to the switch and it shows in putty that:

This looks for me - these AP already configured (i guess), not able to get DHCP IP.

- As stated check if your DHCP server(/configuration) can provide an ip address for the involved (new) mac addresses , and or if they can reach the DHCP server (at least for the DHCP protocol)

Ok we need to look 2 things :

1. Do you have enough DHCP IP address to accomidate. (what is your DHCP range ? what IP address other AP got ? what is EWC IP address ?

2. you have different model of AP here

C9120AXE-T ( -x is regulatory domain )

C9120AXE-E - so check is this your regulator domain ?
