Wireless repeater mode

Hi,

aironet 2702 AP (autonomous mode) is it possible to use it as wireless repeater for all wireless networks, or only the compatible cisco root wlan's?

I have a 9120axe with EWC configured and i want to use 2702 as wireless repeater. Thanks for any help.

I do not believe that a workable solution with 2702 Ap a repeater.

What you can try is use the AP in bridge mode. Brdge mode is similar to a repeater. But, in brigde mode, the AP joins the WLC through another AP, consequently, you are extending your network.

You can configure 2702 in WGB (Workgroup bridge mode) & get it connected to your EWC AP. Though I have not tested it by meself with Ligthweigth AP as root, you can use the below post to get an idea of how WGB needs to configure
