WLC 9800 does not unpack the WebAuth Bundle

Hi Team,

we started migrating from 5520 to 9800, including one Guest SSID with LWA. We did the same a few weeks ago on another site, everything worked fine.

We uploaded WebAuth Bundle to the new WLC, exactly the same as for the first one, (Administration/ Backup-Restore, using http, changed from Conig to WebauthBundle). Upload is successfully, the tar is present on both Active and Standby. But, the un-taring of the File fails. There is a Folder with the same name, a Folder named css inside, but no more. All other Files are not there. As a result, i cannot direct to the customized HTML pages.

Has anybody an Idea what goes wrong with the tar File and how to get it untared and running?

Is there any error for the failure?

There is always the option to create every folder in the tar folder, and copy the files into them from the storage manager or could try using the archive tar /xtract <filename.tar> flash:/ command

No Failure, no logging entrys. I will try the Way and manually xtract the File. Regards, Mike
