I found the issue, it was

Framed-MTU attribute on the Radius server, reduced it to the recommended setting and is now OK

Meraki with Radius issue

We have recently moved an office between floors in a building.

We are still waiting for the ISP to shift the main circuit and are are currently running on a 5G router.

Before we moved the Meraki clients to connect to the 802.1X SSID ok. But since moving the 802.1X authentication does not work, either for clients or in the test function in the portal.

All equipment was moved down without any other changes and the DMVPN tunnel they use to get to the Radius server is up and running ok.

The only thing I have noticed in Wireshark on the src end is there are fragmented packets when the Meraki's try it.

We even have a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller on the same subnet as the Meraki APs and clients are able to use 802.1X APs fine in other offices. The WLC uses the same Radius server as the Merakis. So we know basic communication is fine between the src subnet and the Radius server.

I will try and get a capture from the WLC traffic.
