I would configure a switchport as access in the VLAN that belongs to 10.74.245.128/26 and see if a wired PC gets an IP. If not, the problem is not on the wireless side.

Beside that:

The VLAN is pushed to the AP in the Flex-Policy?

The VLAN is available on all switches on the way from client to next L3 device?

I am flustered. We have a branch office on flexconnect that has (1) AP on a different VLAN which is connected to the 9800 WLC.

I can see clients are reaching the WLC (central assoc and auth enabled) visibly connecting to the WLC. However they cannot get DHCP from our server.

No ACLs blocking

I can ping the DHCP server from AP and L3 switch - so no issues on reachability. Likewise can ping back from server.

I have tried putting in a SVI on the WLC

including a relay to DHCP through the WLAN policy

I have tried requiring ipv4 DHCP and specifying DHCP server to no avail

L3 config of switch shows ip helper to DHCP

any hints on what else to try? One would assume if I can ping, then DHCP should work, but given the subnet differential, who knows?

If the AP registered with WLC, and AP joined the profile as others, I do not see any reason why user not getting DHCP

until you setup a different profile here

I would suggest to run the debug on Cat 9800 WLC to identify the issue.

check some reference guide for the profile
