Unfortunatly members of the community can not provide software that you dont have the legal rights to.

That being said if there is a security advisory for the version you are running you may be able to contact Cisco Support to get a copy of the version its fixed in without needing a service contract.

NO i will not - Thats against the Cisco's useage rights.

If you want software without having legal rights to it there are more than a number of sites on the internet hosting software without the legal rights

On many forums there are instructions to upgrade the firmware from one version to another, the firmware is also on the Cisco homepage, it's very normal, I don't understand why Cisco has limited the right to download these firmwares, and I also see there are many firmwares cisco's are shared on many forums, this is normal!

@diamondincense as Haydn already explained Cisco software is subject to Cisco's licensing terms and conditions. You can only purchase that software/license from Cisco or a Cisco reseller.

You can't come onto a Cisco forum and ask Cisco partners/customers to break the law and breach their own licensing agreements with Cisco! That could result in Cisco prosecuting and/or sanctioning us and/or our companies.

If you find that software to download elsewhere that's great for you but we cannot supply you with Cisco licensed software - end of story. There are no restrictions on the instructions. Only Cisco customers who have paid for software update support are entitled to download from the Cisco web site. Why has Cisco done that - it's their business simple! No, it is not normal to share software on these Cisco forums.

Haydn has already explained how you can obtain free updates from Cisco TAC: Refer to the "Customers without contracts" section of a recent security advisory which applies to your AP then contact TAC via email referencing the link to that advisory, the link to the software you need (with the fix) and the serial number of your hardware.
