I have a AIR-AP1852I-S-K9

I plugged in the POE power switch, but I don't see the neighbors, and I don't see it on the Wireless Controller.
When I use the console to access the Accesspoint, the configuration is still normal.
I've tried resetting the Access point to default, but it still doesn't appear on the 9200 switch and the Wireless Controller.
When holding the device, it seems hotter than usual and has a burning smell.
What does the light on the device flashing red continuously mean?

Disconnect the AP from the power source and RMA it.

I believe the 1800 have been built with components that are not designed to last this long.

@Rich R, for example, have been RMAing 20 of the 1800 per month.
