Hello,

I am posting here to find out if you have any ideas about my problem when installing the CMX in version 10.6.3-70 following a crash (?) of the VM.

The context is as follows for the MSE:

- AIR-MSE-3365-K9 in BIOS Version C220M4.4.1.2e.0.0615220033

- CIMC in Firmware 4.1(2k)

I followed Cisco's procedure (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/mse/10-6-3/installation/installation_guide_1063/software_reset_of_mse_3365_device.html) but towards the end of the installation process, I have the following error:

Restarting network...
Pinging 127.0.0.1..... Success
Pinging X.X.X.X ..... Success
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/runpy.py", line 174, in _run_module_as_main
"__main__", fname, loader, pkg_name)
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/runpy.py", line 72, in _run_code
exec code in run_globals
File "/opt/cmx/sw/lib/pymodules/cmxos/__main__.py", line 1120, in <module>
cmxos()
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/click/core.py", line 716, in __call__
return self.main(*args, **kwargs)
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/click/core.py", line 696, in main
rv = self.invoke(ctx)
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/click/core.py", line 1060, in invoke
return _process_result(sub_ctx.command.invoke(sub_ctx))
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/click/core.py", line 889, in invoke
return ctx.invoke(self.callback, **ctx.params)
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/click/core.py", line 534, in invoke
return callback(*args, **kwargs)
File "/opt/cmx/sw/lib/pymodules/cmxos/__main__.py", line 98, in configure
cmxos.cmxOSConfig(force, skip)
File "/opt/cmx/sw/lib/pymodules/cmxos/cmxosconfig.py", line 235, in cmxOSConfig
self.cmxNetworkConfig()
File "/opt/cmx/sw/lib/pymodules/cmxos/cmxosconfig.py", line 93, in cmxNetworkConfig
testnet = self.testNetworkConfig()
File "/opt/cmx/sw/lib/pymodules/cmxos/cmxos.py", line 431, in testNetworkConfig
return ret1 and ret2 and ret3 and ret4
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'ret3' referenced before assignment

** Something went wrong with the installation, it did not exit cleanly
** Please fix the errors and reboot, login as cmxadmin to start over

I don't know what to do, do you have an idea? Thank you and have a good day.

Indeed, starting from scratch was necessary... this allows us to start on a good basis!

Thanks.
