Hello everyone,

on my wlc 9800 (verisone 17.3.6) some AIRCAP-2802-E-K9 detect as rouge AP some AIRCAP-1702-E-K9.

someone have the same issue on the WLC 9800?

But those AIRCAP-1702-E-K9 are yours? Are they connected to the same WLC 9800 ?

Are these APs connected to your wireless controller ?. If so , then you should reach out to TAC to investigate further for root cause analysis

yes, the AP AIRCAP-1702-E-K9 and AIRCAP-2802-E-K9 are connected on the same WLC

There are tons of well-known defects with regard of Rogue AP and AP 3800/4800 series in C9800.

TAC always sugegest to upgrade to latest. I did it and running 17.9.3 most of them have disappeared, but be sure they will return due to the multiple defects these AP series with Marval chipset have.
