I have 9800 WLC with Advantage license. If i purchase WAP with Essential License. How can veryfy / check each WAP license on WLC?

You cannot mix and match essential and advantage licenses on the WLC. You configure the WLC for essential or advantage - then the WLC will request the corresponding license from Smart Licensing for each AP according to what you configured on the WLC and regardless of what you purchased with the AP. So if your APs have essential licenses then you MUST configure the WLC for essential. If you configure the WLC for advantage then you MUST buy advantage licenses for the APs.
