Clients identify by name

Hi,

I have a question about Identify a Client by name on the WLC. It is currently the case that
I only see the MAC address of the clients or under the name that it was not identified.
What do I have to configure now so that I can also see the name of the client on the WLC,
or is that not possible and I have to look at the DHCP server for this?

Depends on the authentication method.

For obvious reasons OPEN, PSK & web passthrough won't show any username details.

If the authentication method requires user to enter their usernames, it might show up.

Hi Leo,

I don`t mean the Username, I mean the Clientname of the PC or Notebook.
