      <description>Dear Marce,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for your email and reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The problem is that these APs work well for 2 year, and for some reason,&lt;BR /&gt;they start crashing and disconnecting from WLC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We know that we should update, but still have some models of AP that&lt;BR /&gt;support only the current version of WLC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;AIR-AP1852I-E-K9 // 76 pcs&lt;BR /&gt;AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 // 18 pcs&lt;BR /&gt;AIR-AP1572EAC-E-K9 // 1 pcs&lt;BR /&gt;AIR-CAP1532I-E-K9 // 2 pcs&lt;BR /&gt;AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9 // 25pcs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The highest version of WLC which supports all 5 models of APs is 8.3.150.0.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any way that we can manually install images to problematic APs?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is almost certainly a hardware failure of the AP requiring RMA.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Attach the complete log from the AP console from power here as a .txt file (don't paste the whole log in here).&lt;BR /&gt;That should show when the AP detects hardware failure (eg missing radios) which causes the AP join to fail because it sends malformed join requests to the WLC.&amp;nbsp; The hardware failure rate on the 18xx APs is higher than on other models - we RMA about 20 per month on average.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
