Problem with credentials when implementing PEAP using Win2K3 IAS

I've set similar networks up where the wirless clients authenticated against an IAS server on a Win2K3 domain. The problem I'm having is that there is not a domain controller on the network, so the IAS server has to use local accounts. The MS event viewer is showing the following:

User MyPC\MyUser was denied access.

...

Reason = The current server configuration supports only local user accounts.

I think the problem is that the computer name MyPC is prepended to the username, and the server name is MyServer. Hence, MyServer\MyUser will probably work, but I don't know if this is possible.

Thanks
