Hello guys, im playing allready some days with SAP Cisco air 1602 and didnt found till yet the Rogue Detection function.

After like 1h google my own answer is u need a WLAN CONTROLLER. Is it right?

for example: I have 2 Acces Points, do i need to buy controller to watch if i have Rogue ap ??

Hi Doom,

That is right. You need a Controller to fully utilize the Rogue detection feature. For a basic understanding of what algorithm works for Rogue detection and what configs required on WLC end, please go through this basic link that has been one of my fav. Though there are enhancements to this link but for basic understanding i would recommend this link:
