I just want to add: why, oh why, would you ever consider upgrading to 8.8.130.0 which has been end of life for years?
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/217737-configure-enhanced-open-ssid-with-transi.html#toc-hId--970008306

You should be upgrading to 8.10.190.0 as per the TAC recommended link below.

Hi!
I am currently in the process of upgrading my WLC (3504) along with all of the Access Points (AIR-AP1832I-E-K9, AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9, and AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9) to version 8.8.130.0 from the current version, 8.5.161.0.

While the pre-downloading procedure for the access points has been successfully completed for all devices, I've encountered an issue with the AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9 model. They are all failed to complete the pre-downloading process:

(Cisco Controller) >show ap image all

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on the necessary steps to resolve this matter. Your assistance in this regard would be immensely helpful.

Thank you for your attention and support.

Warm regards,
Fred J.
