      <description>&lt;P&gt;Max clients per radio is 200 &lt;A href="https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-9/config-guide/b_wl_17_9_cg/m_client_limit_ewlc.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-9/config-guide/b_wl_17_9_cg/m_client_limit_ewlc.html&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;but you would never actually load the AP to that limit if you expect to deliver an acceptable level of service.&amp;nbsp; The client capacity really depends on a whole number of factors - but mainly the type of client and traffic levels they will generate.&amp;nbsp; Even if the radio can handle that many clients they will be competing for the same radio airtime so it's never wise to load the AP anywhere near to the limits.&lt;BR /&gt;Meraki provides some guidance on calculating how many APs you will need:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://documentation.meraki.com/Architectures_and_Best_Practices/Cisco_Meraki_Best_Practice_Design/Best_Practice_Design_-_MR_Wireless" target="_blank"&gt;https://documentation.meraki.com/Architectures_and_Best_Practices/Cisco_Meraki_Best_Practice_Design/Best_Practice_Design_-_MR_Wireless&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The radiation pattern is in the data sheet which &lt;a href="https://community.cisco.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/291804"&gt;@Mark Elsen&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;linked above but actual coverage will depend on AP location, channels used, power levels and physical environment so as the others have said get a professional wireless installer site survey done.&amp;nbsp; Like Leo says if you get it wrong you'll have unhappy users complaining about a rubbish service so it's best to get it done right first time.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
