Catalyst 9124 Stuck on EWC-AP in Recovery Mode

Hello All,

I was trying to convert my cisco c9124axi to ewc, I use the commands

ap-type ewc-ap tftp://x.x.x.x/ap1g6a tftp://x..x.x/C9800-AP-iosxe-wlc.bin

After reboot I got the error

EWC-AP in Recovery Mode......
Please use 'archive download-sw' to upgrade AP and Controller image.
Please use 'show flexconnect ewc-ap launch-log' to check EWC-AP launch log.

This prompt keeps coming and doesn´t let me do anything,

I don´t know how to solve this issue can someone guide me on any solution?

i would suggest try some OLD version and check : (Hope you Trying IOS XE 17.13.X ?

Try 17.9.4a and let us know.

Hello all thaks for your response but for some reason I can't exit the prompt

EWC-AP in Recovery Mode......
Please use 'archive download-sw' to upgrade AP and Controller image.
Please use 'show flexconnect ewc-ap launch-log' to check EWC-AP launch log.

I don't know if someone knows how to go back to the # to get the AP launch log or to recover the controller image.

Searching for the Access Point Manufacture Image I don´t find any image for C9124AXI access point.

Have you tried any other versions? I've been wrestling with the same problem on 17.11.1 and got it to work by installing 17.10.1 via the archive download-sw command. See link below.
