WLC 9800 web auth captive portal not working flexconnect

I have setup a SSID with use web policy using the inbuilt web auth page on the controller. I have setup flex connect profile and selected the central authentication option only. The problem is when i connect to the SSID the captive portal tries to load but I get a error "Error opening page" Hotspot login cannot open the page because the server cannot be found.

- Debug the captive portal using : https://logadvisor.cisco.com/logadvisor/wireless/9800/9800CWA
And have a general checkup of the 9800 controller configuration using the CLI command show tech wireless and feed the output from that into Wireless Config Analyzer

Is it your DNS resolution for your captive portal's URL pointing to the right appliance?

Yes it is but i get a DNS error when using flex connect
