Hello guys I have a new Wireless Access Point model IW3702- 4E that is connected to a POE port on Switch model WS-C4510R+E.

It starts with and shows a few solid and flashing lights but after no Lights remain stable. Seems it is not fully loading the ios. I could be wrong but any one with an idea about this and what I can do.

Console into the AP and reboot.

Post the entire boot-up process.

- After the observed led sequence has completed , on the WS-C4510R+E. , issue the command show cdp neighbors detail ; what outputs do you get for the switchport where the AP is connected to ?

No cdp nei is returned in the result.

When I connect another New Ap on same int the new Ap is working fine. So it is clearly an issue with the AP.

- Not good , this means a normal startup could not be completed. How is
the AP powered ?.

Using PoE with M12 X-code.
Same code worked on new AP

- Make sure the particular port has LLDP enabled ,

- You will need to take the AP down attach a console in a 'lab environment' and observe the boot process
