Hi,

I would like to clarify if the wlc L2 mobility roaming can be achieve between cisco and a 3rd party vendor controller? Where I will create a link in between the two controller and set a mobility group so that clients can roam freely between two wireless vendors.

As what @Rasika Nayanajith said not possible. If you have the same SSID on 2 differnet vendors (including Cisco to Meraki) the client device will see them as 2 seperate network. Roaming will not be seamless, as client will hard disconnect from one and then join new as seperate network so client impact.

If this is to transition vendor A for vendor B recommend only doing none roaming areas or changing SSID to new areas or big band replacement (although not always possible)
