Cisco 3602 AP Continuously Rebooting due to Corrupt IOS Image

Dear Community Members,

I am experiencing a problem with my Cisco 3602 AP, which is continuously rebooting. It appears that the IOS image is corrupted. I would like to interrupt the boot sequence and enter ROMMON mode to delete the problematic image and install a new one. My goal is to convert this AP into an autonomous AP.

Could you please advise on how to interrupt the boot sequence and install the new image? I have tried the following methods, but none have worked:

Mode button

Ctrl + C

Esc key

Below are the AP CLI outputs for reference:

IOS Bootloader - Starting system.
flash is writable
FLASH CHIP: Spansion Mirrorbit (0001)
Xmodem file system is available.
flashfs[0]: 695 files, 26 directories
flashfs[0]: 0 orphaned files, 0 orphaned directories
flashfs[0]: Total bytes: 31997952
flashfs[0]: Bytes used: 19738624
flashfs[0]: Bytes available: 12259328
flashfs[0]: flashfs fsck took 19 seconds.
Reading cookie from SEEPROM
Base Ethernet MAC address: c4:64:13:c0:79:a1
Ethernet speed is 1000 Mb - FULL Duplex
Loading "flash:ap3g2-k9w8-mx.153-3.JA12/ap3g2-k9w8-mx.153-3.JA12"...#########################

File "flash:ap3g2-k9w8-mx.153-3.JA12/ap3g2-k9w8-mx.153-3.JA12" uncompressed and installed, entry point: 0x2003000
executing...

Secondary Bootloader - Starting system.
Tide MB - 32MB of flash
Xmodem file system is available.
flashfs[0]: 695 files, 26 directories
flashfs[0]: 0 orphaned files, 0 orphaned directories
flashfs[0]: Total bytes: 31997952
flashfs[0]: Bytes used: 19738624
flashfs[0]: Bytes available: 12259328
flashfs[0]: flashfs fsck took 9 seconds.
flashfs[1]: 0 files, 1 directories
flashfs[1]: 0 orphaned files, 0 orphaned directories
flashfs[1]: Total bytes: 12257280
flashfs[1]: Bytes used: 1024
flashfs[1]: Bytes available: 12256256
flashfs[1]: flashfs fsck took 1 seconds.
Base Ethernet MAC address: c4:64:13:c0:79:a1

2600/3600 AP, PID: 'AIR-CAP3602I-A-K9 '.
Dear Marce 1000,

Thank you for your support. The issue has been resolved by following step
8. The problem was actually with the mode button—it wasn't being pressed
properly. I opened the back cover of the AP, pressed the button correctly,
and successfully interrupted the boot sequence.

Thank you so much.
