Negating a configuration

I am trying to learn wireless by using two Cisco 2504 WLCs. The issue that I have with these WLCs is that I can't negate a configuration. When I am asking AIs about this issue, they all say to use no before the command. I guess AIs are too young to know about very old technologies like 2504 WLCs. How can I negate a command?

Also, I searched a lot but I couldn't find anything about this: *osapiBsnTimer: Oct 17 10:17:07.424: Same gateway prevails

- If you want to learn about wireless and or wireless controller's these days , then use the 9800 platform for that , as the aireos controller such as the 2504 are very old and the product line is End of Life.
You can download the virtual 9800 controller for free for testing , and or checking out on how to configure it:

Thank you Marce for the links. For now I want to learn AireOS controllers then I will move to IOS-XE.

WLC AIROS based is not a good place to work with command. It is much more intuitive working with web interface.

But, if you are a CLI adicted, them, you can use this links for reference. All the command you need is there. Just keep in mind that WLC CLI is different from the Cisco standard.Basically when you login you get in the prompt

(Cisco Controller) >

From there, you use show do see config or "config" to change configs. There will be no "config t" like in any cisco device.

I recommend starting by reviewing the AirOS Command Reference Guide, which can be found here:

AirOS Command Reference Guide.

In most AirOS commands, the CLI syntax involves the use of "enable" or "disable."
For example:
config lag {enable | disable}

I understand that many customers are still using AirOS controllers or are in the process of migrating from AirOS to IOS-XE. Therefore, it’s beneficial to be familiar with both AirOS and IOS-XE controller configurations.

Thank you everyone for links and advices. I am trying to setup HA using two 2504 WLCs and I am using a link, https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/hi_avail/N1_High_Availability_Deployment_Guide.pdf, to accomplish this. Still working on it. I have two WLCs so I am not sure if that is enough.

Cisco 2504 only do N+1 high availability. It won't support HA-SSO (AP-SSO or Client SSO).

Note: Backup WLC also require AP license to work in case of failure.

2504 WLC don't support HA-SSO (AP & Client SSO). This model supports only N+1 redundancy. You are looking at the correct document.

You need 2 WLCs to setup N+1 redundancy.

N+1 can use 3 WLCs because the APs can be configured with Primary, Secondary and Tertiary controllers but 2 is the most common configuration.
