@keith-mk-li

 As already informed, you can not change the roaming behavior by changing RF configuration on the WLC as the roaming is a client decision.

This screen you are seeing, is related to the Coverage. Meaning, if you change this, you are going to change the Access Point cells size. You will be narrowing down the AP coverage. Change this parameter carefully or you may and up having coverage issue.

If you want to interfere with roaming, you may use RX-SOP

https://uniquessid.com/2021/05/08/configuring-rxsop-in-cisco-ios-xe-and-aireos-wlcs/

You can also take a look in optimized roaming

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/config-guide/b_wl_16_10_cg/optimized-roaming.html

But, never forget that the roaming is not WLC decision.

RX-SOP controls the entry of clients to the Cell. You need to test this exhaustively before implement. I can not tell you a value as I dont know how good or bad is your wireless coverage. What I can tell you is that the RX-SOP is a filter and makes the AP look in the frame and accept the client or not.

If you add a value two high, for example -65dBm, you are narrowing the access point cell a lot as only clients with signal above that will be able to join. In the same way, if you set the value to something like -80dBm, you are basacally allowing anyone to join.

This is not a simple setup. If you want to play with that, dont expect anyone to tell you value. Make your tests and take your own conclusion. No one knows your network. If you have a very good coverage you can work with one range o value but if the coverage is bad, is something else.

This is the kind of feature that can help but also can bring you a lot of trouble.

What is it you're actually trying to do?

Adjusting AP cell size is about about power levels but that should be part of your wireless design and post-install survey.
If you don't know how to do that then you should hire a qualified wireless design professional to do it for you.
