topic Need Access Point down list along with serial number from WLC 9800 in Wireless

Hello Everyone,

I need to generate a list of Access Points that are currently offline, along with their corresponding serial numbers, from a 9800-80 Wireless LAN Controller (WLC). However, I have noticed that the "Join Statistics" page on the 9800 WLC does not provide an option to include the serial number as a column.

For context, I am running version 17.9.5 of the 9800 WLC.

Is there a method or CLI command that can be used to extract this information, specifically identifying which Access Points are down and retrieving their serial numbers in one go?

Dont believe this is possible as wlc does not hold this information in data base. As the AP wend off, it is unknow by the WLC.

It would be possible if you had cisco Prime or DNAC or some other monitoring tool with data base capability.

- As @Flavio Miranda is saying that is not possible and or not foreseen, because the controller wants to focused on operational stats for the particular access point states only ; from https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/217738-monitor-catalyst-9800-kpis-key-performa.html#anc4

You have for instance : CLI # show wireless stats ap history | i Disjoined

You will have to get the SN's from your asset database , or the other tools being mentioned earlier
