Hello!!

I have a problem with the configuration of my WLC in Packet Tracer and I'm not sure if it's an error on my part or the program.

Once everything worked and I was able to log in to the WLC and configure it without any problems. The next day I tried to log in again via the PC, but the connection did not work. The web browser shows “Request Timeout”.

The WLAN controller is part of VLAN60 and has the address 192.168.0.66/26. I try to open the address of the WLC in the browser via PC8, but without success.

Here is the configuration for the multilayer switch:
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/8
switchport access vlan 60
switchport mode access

This problem occurs again and again. Can you help me?

WLC is very buggy on PT. Try a different model. I would recommend 2504.

If you are trying to get hands on with Wireless Controllers, you can also try Cisco dCloud.

Or deploy VM / CL controller in your virtual environment to test. I would start with C9800 controllers.

Cisco 3504 is EOL.
