Good day,

My Catalyst 9120 with embedded ewc is behaving strangely after a software update using the http desktop option.

I tried updating my device to version 17.15.02, however after everything completed, i lost all communication with the device. could not ping the ip address of the gig 0 and going in through the serial port was unresponsive.

I proceeded to power cycle the device, however after u boot, the text in the serial connection text becomes incomprehensible and then unresponsive.

If I hold down the reset button for 20 seconds, it looks like it is booting into the ewc, but all i can do is enter an enable password password and then it loops over. I also tried the wireless ewc-ap factory-reset command, however when it reboots i have the same issue of the incomprehensible text and unresponsive.

I am however able to get into the u-boot prompt by hitting the escape key after holding the reset button for 20 seconds.

Not sure where to go from here. If it should be RMA or if there i a fix that I can perform myself.

Thank you!
