&lt;P&gt;1. try to reregister device with smart license (assume your wlc using smart license)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. open TAC support case if non of above workaround works.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>No licenses in use - Cisco C9800 WLC controller</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to seek from anyone advise about the licensing in Cisco C9800 WLC controller how's it work actually?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As I have found that the license not activated in my current Cisco C9800 WLC controller past two days ago, this incident happened when the power maintenance has been done in my office building past two days ago and the controller was powered off about few hours during the power maintenance down time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, the controller is power on back after the maintenance was done and noticed that the licensing not showing anymore and indicate the license not in use as shown below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="wilsonleong_0-1734244361514.png" style="width: 744px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cisco.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/235977i1EA1CD9F4C2BBE9B/image-dimensions/744x266?v=v2" width="744" height="266" role="button" title="wilsonleong_0-1734244361514.png" alt="wilsonleong_0-1734244361514.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could I know whether is it need to take some time for the controller to connect to Cisco Smart Licensing Portal to activate back the license? if yes, how long the duration will be taken?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Kasun Bandara and Marce,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for your kind feedback and advise.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Anyway, for your info this issue has been resolved. As I have noticed that due to the one of the switch was having issue that caused the controller that connected to the switch don't have the internet access to re-activate the license.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After rebooted the switch, the internet connection was resume back and the license was reflected and updated currently as well.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Anyway, thanks for both of your kind feedback.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
