&lt;P class="pBody"&gt;As part of mode consolidation&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Embedded Wireless on Catalyst 9000 Series Switch (non-SDA) using WebUI&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;will be&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;End of Support (Q3FY21)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;with no additional feature development or code changes and 17.3.x is the last supported release.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="pBody"&gt;The supported workflow is shown in this deployment guide."&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Technically you can, if you use an older version of IOS. I once wasted a huge amount of time trying to get this to work but it did work in the end. If you're trying to avoid buying a WLC, you'd be better off going with a virtual appliance or even cloud-hosted. Since you're going to pay a DNA subscription anyway, you might consider going with a Meraki-hosted solution.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
