To check roaming status on a Catalyst 9800 WLC with APs like the 9164, use the following commands:

show wireless client mac-address <client-mac> detail – Provides detailed client info, including roaming history and current AP.
show wireless client eventlog mac <client-mac> – Displays event logs related to the client's roaming.
show wireless stats client detail – Shows roaming statistics for all clients.
show wireless stats mobility – Displays global roaming statistics (intra/inter-controller roaming).
show ap name <AP-name> client summary – Lists clients connected to a specific AP to track roaming patterns.

Ensure 802.11r is enabled for seamless roaming, and mobility group configurations are correct.
